the wait in almost over

Three and a half years after tearing out the VERY unstable deck that was attached to my house when we moved in I finally have something to walk out onto from my back door.

We don't have the railing on it yet so the door remains locked (the deadbolt locks from the inside and the doorknob locks from the outside to insure that my kids do not go out by themselves.) Spencer teased me that I must really want my deck was helping at 8:00 at night in the cold and wind. Well of course I am excited. I have wanted to have my deck back from the day we took down the old one!!!
