what our kids do

So tonight Spencer was building a bed frame for Monkey. This required that he use his table saw. So he is out sawing and Monkey takes his square off of the saw and Spencer doesn't see what he does with it. By this time Monkey had come in to go to the bathroom and so Spencer comes in and asks him what he had done with the square. Monkey calmly tells Spencer that he had put the square under the dirt. So Spencer goes out to see if he can find it in the backyard "under the dirt." A couple minutes later Spencer is back in and gets Monkey dressed (Monkey has to take all his clothing off when he goes to the bathroom) and then takes him back outside so that he can take Spencer to where the square is. By this time I am awake and can tell that Spencer is upset and so I go out with Monkey to have him show me what he had done with it. I go into the backyard and I can not see where there is any dirt that has been disturbed and so am at a lose to know what Monkey did with it. So I come back in the house and look to see if Monkey by chance had brought it in the house. I still had no luck. Monkey keeps insisting that he put the tool in the garage, but there is no where in the garage that he could have put it. About an hour after we had started looking Spencer calls my cell to tell me that he had found it. When I get back outside he points out where he had found it. Monkey had put it away. There are clips on the side of the saw that the square slides in and that is where Monkey had put it.
