I found out that the son of one of the couples that we know here in town was tragically killed by an accidental self inflicted gun shot to the head Friday. How do you show these parents any type of sympathy? I am sitting here getting ready to welcome a new life into the world and they are mourning the loss of their 9/10 year old. I can not even imagine what they are going through.
I really did not know the child. I have met his older brother, but not him. The parents are great people and are very active in their kid's life as well as the community. The are great people and it breaks my heart to know that they are going through this tragic event.
My thoughts and prayers are with them.
